According to Section 5 of THE MUSLIM FAMILY LAWS ORDINANCE 1961 is Every marriage solemnized under Muslim Law shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. if any person fail to do so, section 5 subsection 4 with provision of (1) and (2) of THE MUSLIM FAMILY LAWS ORDINANCE 1961.

Procedure for nikah
Fill out a marriage contract (Nikahnama) with details about the bride, groom, and witnesses.
Determination of dowery amount in nikah nama column 13,14,15,16 ( Haq Mahar )in details how much , moveable or immoveable capital , non-demanded (majal )and demanded ( gar-majal ).
Determine any other condition in nikah nama column 17,18,19.
